Thirty Three Years
Mar 07, 2026
It's really not that much time.
Now imagine living 30 of them with partial blindness in the mind (okay 15). Point is, half your life regarding human development, the most significant years, are spent stunted with poorly founded: “grand-plan vision”, forward momentum and the ability to grow, all because your mind shutdown on a key component around your ability to take the next step in a crucial moment in your life…which felt impossible. Abused, abandoned, isolated and alone, and the only place you have available to you is going back to the place that inflicted and tolerated it. You don’t even think to call the authorities — that’s just how much your needs have been minimized. You don’t know that it’s safe for you to ask for help. You don’t know that that first step, walking back toward abuse as your only option is self-betrayal to survive. It’s a paradox.
That paradox is where thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people are stuck. They are stuck in a framework of the mind that keeps them trapped to the unresolve of a past experience. The unresolve, surrounding a single event that happened in their lifetime; a single event, or often, several. There are hundreds of thousands of people living life “normally” in this way — we only know life, if it requires self-sacrifice and self-betrayal. Not because we want that — but because we were conditioned and that conditioning gets wired into our being. It’s all we know. And just like that first step to walk back to the abuse because it’s your only option to survive — these people now have to take the first step away from a life built on self-betrayal. We have to find a way to step out of the paradox. The hardest thing about that — feeling safe enough to take that first baby step of choosing yourself over everything and everyone else.
33 years is a lifetime for some — and it’s really not that much time. When you think of everything there is to life and what you can do with yours, especially if you have a lot of interests and enthusiasm for learning new things — it takes time to get good at anything. So if you’re someone who wants to break out of the paradox of: “I receive when I self-abandon…” you have to abandon that complex altogether. You have to adapt to a better foundation.
So, what’s it gonna be? Get framed lIke you’re in a museum, or actually go fly the plane?
