Everything Depends on Your Heart

Jul 29, 2026

Whether you like it or not, your heart is always the star of the show. Sometimes your mind will hijack the spotlight, sometimes your gut, sometimes your feet will lead you to run away, but ultimately, what’s plain as day to see? It’s your heart. So the success of something then, depends on how much your heart is behind something, and — And, if others accept it. And, if you keep showing up. And — if your intentions are true and honest. We try to hide our hearts from the world, but it’s the factor that resounds with us the most, it’s what sticks the landing... or doesn’t.

You can give a speech containing the most profound facts and findings, but without heart, it falls flat. You can give a performance of the most advanced piano music, or compositions, but without heart, it feels stale. You can say whatever you want to someone to convince them you love and care for them, but without heart, it becomes a lie, maybe a trap for control. You can go do charitable work half way across the world, but without heart, the memories will quickly fade for everyone involved. The quality, success, joy of something, all depends on the state of your heart.

So what do you do when it’s closed off? Go find a “new” one. Immerse yourself in a group, team, club, culture, that has a vibrant, steady, beating heart. We’ll do this though to keep going until we are ready to “face the music” of our own lives. When we’re ready to remove the algea around our hearts and clean our blood. While I talk about metaphysics — yea — you can start to have heart problems and blood problems if you keep allowing anything into your sphere, mind, spirit, your system. Likewise, if you keep allowing things to persist and weigh down on your heart and mind, your may suffer medically. Here’s how to not do that — you can live a healthy and good life by just keeping your heart in check.

Anything you’re doing right now, where your heart is not 100% invested in, reassess and adjust, or drop it altogether. Don’t drag something on that’s getting 60% of your heart, because you’re not willing or are too afraid of going all-in. And before you jump to it saying, “but all-in is too risky” no — being half-hearted is. Here’s why. When you do things half-heartedly, you spread yourself thin. When you spread yourself thin, you begin to leak your energy, you begin to feel stretched, not in the good way of reaching new limits and goals, but in the way of losing substance. Less is more. In other words, committing to too many things that are not absolute “yeses” hurts you in the long run. And if it hurts you, it’s going to hurt others as well. Less is more — meaning, give yourself the few options to be really good at — the options you care about the most. The options where your heart is 100% invested, pumping and vibrant.

Who is the girl? She made me laugh, when my heart needed it most.
